National supports review of tikanga
National Party Maori Affairs spokesman Gerry Brownlee
says National would support a proposal for a review of the
use of Maori tikanga in the state sector.
“The National
Party has been saying for sometime now that things like
powhiri are being inappropriately used and over-used. We
welcome Pita Sharples’ support,” says Mr
Brownlee.
