Rugby World Cup Bill To Be Debated
The first item
of parliamentary business after question time today is
expected to be the committee stage of the Rugby World Cup
2011 (Empowering) Bill.
Other bills high on the Order Paper include the first reading of
the Taxation (International Investment and Remedial Matters)
Bill and the third reading of the Governor-General Bill.
Tomorrow night is members’ night and the Government has
indicated the House will sit under Urgency next week to make
progress on bills on the Order
Paper.
