State Sector Bill Passes Under Urgency
The State-Sector Management Bill completed
its committee stage was reported with amendment and split
into the Research, Science, and Technology Bill, National
Library of New Zealand (Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa)
Amendment Bill, and Public Records Amendment Bill
The
Research, Science, and Technology Bill passed by 103 votes
to 6 with the Greens opposing.
The remaining bills passed
by 65 to 54 with Labour and the Greens opposing.
MPs began
the committee stage of the Education Amendment Bill (No
2).
