Foreshore Bill Progresses
The Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Bill completed it second reading debate by 62 votes to 56 with National, Maori Party and United Future supporting. Labour, the Greens and ACT opposed and Hone Harawira and Chris Carter did not vote.
Following the
dinner break MPs will resume the committee stage debate on
the Legal Services Bill.
