Labour MPs to sleep in cars for the homeless

Mangere MP Su’a William Sio will join Labour colleagues David Cunliffe and Louisa Wall and other MPs to support the #parkupforhomes event in Mangere tonight .

“Our communities are standing in solidarity with those families who this Government has failed to protect and are forced to sleep in their cars this cold winter.

“We want this Government to hear the message loud and clear that it is unacceptable and totally wrong for them to create an environment where families with children are forced to sleep in cars. This is not the New Zealand we pay our taxes for,” says Su’a William Sio.

Where: Mangere Town Centre Carpark

When: 6 pm
