New Zealand First Caucus Announces Shane Jones As Deputy Leader
The New Zealand First Caucus is proud to announce the unanimous election of Shane Jones as the Party’s Deputy Leader.
Shane has shown himself to be a relentless hard worker, loyal, demonstrate unquestionable passion for our country, and a megaphone for New Zealand First’s views and principles.
Throughout this term Shane has already been seen, and reported on, as the ‘de facto Deputy Leader’. This is due to the standing he has within caucus and the leadership he has shown not only in his portfolios but within the wider membership.
We are moving into election year very soon and to have Shane as our official Deputy Leader gives certainty, direction, and structure to what will be one of the most important campaigns our party and country has seen.
