Once more, In English this time, Mr Cullen

The New Zealand First Leader, Winston Peters, is asking Labour’s Public Sector Spokesperson, Michael Cullen, to explain Labour’s public sector reform programme, in English, instead of bureaucratic double-speak.

“Can Mr Cullen please tell us exactly what a “collection of semi-autonomous social delivery agencies” are, what “excess Balkanisation” is, and precisely what “excessive and petty managerialism” is?

“It seems that he is either swearing and shouting at the public again, or trying to confuse the people with enigma-coded gobbledygook double-speak.

“The Labour Party will have to hire an interpreter from the State Services Commission for Mr Cullen. After all, it was Labour who created the State Sector Act in the 1980s,” concluded Mr Peters.
