The capture of the future of the wool industry by the
growers at the Wool Board's annual meeting in Rotorua
yesterday augers well for the future of the industry, said
Owen Jennings.
"It is vital that the control and
management of the McKinsey investigation is firmly in the
hands of growers rather than the failed Wool Board," Mr
Jennings said
"It's important that the independent
growers group ensures that the process is not captured or
unduly influenced by those who want to preserve the status
quo."
