GE FREE Rally

Forwarded from GE Free NZ ...

GE FREE NZ is holding a GE FREE Rally on the steps of
PLACE Dalmuir House, 114, The Terrace, Wellington.
DATE 30 January 2001
TIME at 9 am

This is the entrance to the building in which the Royal Commission on Genetic Engineering is 'sitting'. The rally is in support of a GE FREE NZ and our oral submission calling on the commission for a GE FREE NZ . PLEASE CAN YOU MAKE AND BRING A BANNER IN SUPPORT of a GE FREE NZ! We need a PHOTO opportunity!! If not just bring yourself !.

Mae Wan Hoe and Joe Cummins will talk via video link from the UK in support of our submission, Steven Drunker will appear in person. Support inside, after the Rally ends at 10 am, would be great. Should you have any ideas or actions please contact Fey Valiant our new Wellington GE FREE co ordinator on 025 735 434 or Mary Anne on 021 674 966.

None of us know what the Royal Commission will report, but we have much to celebrate. The fact that NZ has the first one is significant. I would like to acknowledge all those people who work tirelessly on this issue with little recognition. THANK YOU - THANK YOU!
