Melbourne Abortion killing

PRESS RELEASE 19 July 2001

RIGHT TO LIFE NEW ZEALAND

The killing of a security guard outside a Melbourne abortion "clinic"(abortuary) is deplored by Right To Life New Zealand, as is the killing of innocent and helpless unborn children inside the abortuary.

Campaigners from the group who were outside the clinic at the time called, " Helpers of God's Precious Infants" have been unfairly criticised. Members of this organisation also belong to Right To Life New Zealand. Their prayful presence outside the clinic is a witness to to the value of the life of every unborn child. Helpers provide compassion and information and practical help to assist women before and after the birth of their child. This information is not available at the clinic.

Since 1993 3 abortionists, 2 clinic employees, a clinic escort, and a secuiry guard have been murdered in the United States. There also have been 17 attempted murders of clinic staff. These crimes are deployed but to stop the violence outside clinics it is first necessary to stop the violence against women and unborn children inside the clinics.
