Libertarianz health spokesman Dr Richard
McGrath today threw his party's support behind efforts to
bring to justice the doctor who tortured children and
adolescents at Lake Alice mental hospital in the 1970s.
"Dr Selwyn Leeks is said to be practicing in Melbourne,
and the government don't seem to want him stand trial." he
said. "Helen Clark and Annette King would rather fleece
taxpayers to compensate the torture victims instead of
asking Dr Leeks to put matters right himself."
"I demand
that this brute be made to face his victims and compensate
them. Slobodan Milosevich was extradited and made to stand
trial, and so can Selwyn Leeks."
