Let SFO Director get on with job
Serious Fraud Officer director David Bradshaw should be left alone to get on with his job, PSA national secretary Bryce Fleury said today.
“The Serious Fraud Office Act allows Mr Bradshaw, while conducting his investigation into alleged misuse of funds, to talk to others who he believes may have a proper interest in the information. He has stated publicly his reasons for doing so. His actions do not compromise his independence and politicians should stop interfering and leave him to complete his investigation.”
Bryce Fleury said the neutrality of the public service is a fundamental basis for our political system and needs to be protected.
“Calls for Mr Bradshaw’s resignation are clearly designed to undermine him and the SFO investigation. Public servants should not be used in this way as a target for political point scoring.”
