Local election audit, processing and count progress - Tuesday

Three further audited results of DHB elections have been declared by Electoral Officers These are:

MidCentral DHB Wairarapa DHB West Coast DHB

The results of the following elections had already been declared.

Bay of Plenty DHB (Office of Auditor-General (OAG) audited) Capital and Coast Health DHB (OAG audited) Chathams Islands Council (OAG audit not required) Counties-Manukau DHB (OAG audited) Dunedin City Council (OAG audited) Hutt Valley DHB (OAG audited) Kapiti Coast Council (OAG audited) Lakes DHB (OAG audited) Marlborough Council (OAG audited) Matamata-Piako District Council (OAG audited) Porirua City Council and Porirua Licensing Trust (OAG audited) Tairawhiti DHB (OAG audited) Waitemata DHB (OAG audited) Wellington City Council (OAG audited) Whanganui DHB (OAG audited)

All Council and Licensing Trust election results have now been declared. Seven DHBs remain to be declared. Work is continuing on processing and audit.

How long the processing and audit takes and the order in which results are released to Electoral Officers depends on the issues identified in each case. It is therefore still not possible to predict when further results will be available or in which order they will be produced. Considerable progress has been made since late last week.
