Rimutaka selects Mike Leddy as the National Party

Rimutaka selects Mike Leddy as the National Party Candidate

The National Party has selected Mike Leddy as its Rimutaka candidate for the 2005 election.

Mike’s selection brings some real stability to National’s representation in Rimutaka says Tony Kippax, the Party’s local electorate chair.

“Mike brings with him a broad range of skills and experience which will be of tremendous value in getting the best outcome for our constituents,” Mr Kippax says.

“As a local family man with a strong professional background Mike personally reflects the lifestyle, values and attitudes of many people in the Rimutaka electorate. His aim is to be Rimutaka’s voice in Government as opposed to the government’s voice in Rimutaka.”

Don Brash is visiting Upper Hutt on Wednesday 16 February, where he is addressing a public meeting at 2:00 pm at the Hapai Club in Fergusson Drive.

Mike will launch his campaign following Dr Brash’s address and both will be available to meet people from the electorate.
