Honorary Consul for the Republic of South
Africa
TRIBUTE TO ROD DONALD
On behalf of the South
African government and its people I wish to express our
sincere condolences at the passing of Green Party co-leader
Rod Donald.
To Nicola, Holly, Emma and Zoe we say our
prayers and thoughts are with you during this time and in
the days that lie ahead.
Rod was a principled champion for
Human Rights and we will always remember his contribution to
the South African struggle for Justice not just during 1981
but consistently over the years.
At a personal level I
fondly remember the many private and public platforms we
have shared and Rod’s passionate commitment in standing up
for the causes he believed in.
A good man has passed on
But the Dream for a Better Life for all lives
on.
