Wellington public transport complaint resolved

A meeting was held by the Human Rights Commission today to mediate a complaint made by a visually impaired boy concerning the use of his 'blind pass' on a Wellington Stagecoach bus.

Both parties agreed that the meeting was a positive one and that the main issues raised in the complaint had been addressed.

The two parties would meet again as part of their agreement.

Both parties have agreed that no further public comment would be provided other than this statement.
