New Air Force Pilots get their Wings

Four newly qualified pilots will be presented their Wings at a parade attended by the Associate Minister of Defence, the Honourable Annette King.

The Parade will be held tomorrow (Thursday, 17 November) at RNZAF Base Ohakea.

The presentation of the Pilot’s brevet signifies the successful completion over a year of flight training.

The students, from Dunedin, Timaru and the Waikato will go on to fly either helicopters, C-130 Hercules or P3 Orions.
