Court Adjourned In Effort to Settle Dispute

Today's employment court case between unions and Progressive has been adjourned until tomorrow morning so that parties can continue talks in an effort to settle the dispute, says the National Distribution Union.

NDU National Secretary Laila Harre will be available for interview at 3:30pm today on the steps of the Auckland Employment Court at 280 Queen Street.

The court case was adjourned from 9.30am this morning to 2.15pm and has been adjourned again until 9.30am tomorrow morning.

The National Distribution Union and Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union who represent Progressive's 500+ locked out workers are seeking an injunction over the lock out which the union's claim is unlawful.
