Armed Robbery Offender Sought

Police are urgently seeking a Wellington man in connection with an Aggravated Robbery at a pharmacy in central Wellington on Saturday the 5th January 2008.

Lance Roy Ludwig is a Caucasian male. He is 34 years old, 5"10 tall and of medium build. He has short gingery hair and a goatee beard. He has numerous tattoos on his arms, hands and on his neck.

He is believed to be in possession of a firearm namely a pistol and he has a history of violence. He is considered to be armed and dangerous and members of the public must not approach him. Any sightings should be reported immediately to Police by calling 111. Anyone with information that may assist in locating Lance Roy LUDWIG can contact Wellington C.I.B. on 0800 TIPOFF"

Detective Sergeant Damian Murphy said "Lance Roy Ludwig has associates throughout the North Island, particularly in Wellington, Otaki, Hamilton and the Hawkes Bay. I advise people who know Lance Roy Ludwig against harbouring him and I urge Mr Ludwig to hand himself at a police station immediately"
