Tino Rangatiratanga flag Ready For Bridge "Flyby"
Largest Tino Rangatiratanga flag completed in time for
Waitangi Day flyby over the Auckland Harbour
Bridge
Members and supporters of the sovereignty group Te Ata Tino Toa gathered today to create the largest known Tino Rangatiratanga flag, in preparation for a 9AM Waitangi Day flyby over the Auckland Harbour Bridge as a response to Transit New Zealand’s stubborn dogmatic refusal to fly the flag themselves.
Te Ata Tino Toa Spokesperson Teanau Tuiono commented “If they can’t recognize our mana within their established status quo structures, our response is to get creative and show how our mana can transcend their pettiness.”
