13 June 08. The Family Party has launched its second You-tube political advertisement titled, “the family.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOeu6ewISA8. The advert features deputy leader Paul Adams with his children and grandchildren, and goes to the heart of the Family Party message of putting families first.

It is the second advertisement coming after ‘the gamble,’ which was launched at the Family Party conference in Mangere three weeks ago and has already amassed over 7,000 You-tube viewings, making it by far New Zealand’s most watched online political advertisement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYtbTGnwjCI

“Over seven thousand You-tube viewings of ‘the gamble’ in three weeks is a result we’re very happy with, and will continue to play a key part in our overall strategy to create awareness around the Family Party. We are excited to be launching ‘the family’ and will continue rolling out similar advertisements over the next month,” says leader Richard Lewis.

“Labour did their best to suffocate minor parties outside of Parliament through the undemocratic Electoral Finance Act. But it clearly hasn’t dampened our enthusiasm or creativity to utilise the vast online community as best we can, ” he added.
