Congrats For Northcote Labour Candidate's Masters Graduation

Northcote Labour Electorate Committee Congratulates Candidate on Masters Graduation

The Northcote Labour Electorate Committee is delighted to congratulate it’s candidate in the upcoming general election, Paula Gillon, on receiving a first class honours for her Masters degree.

Paula has gained a Master of Philosophy in Public Policy, through AUT’s Institute of Public Policy. Her topic was on a human rights-based approach to local government policy development and was achieved through gaining a scholarship from the Auckland City Council.

Stephanie Thompson, Chair of the Northcote Labour Electorate Committee, said: “We extend our warmest congratulations to our candidate, Paula Gillon, for this wonderful achievement and hope that she has a very enjoyable graduation ceremony.”

“Paula’s area of research and experience in local body politics, in addition to her unwavering commitment and passion for her local community serves to highlight her integrity and continual dedication to the service of others,” Thompson added.

Paula said she was humbled by the experience and wanted to congratulate her fellow graduands. Paula will be taking part in the parade down Hurstmere Road in Takapuna before graduating at the Bruce Mason Theatre this Thursday at 2pm.
