Whangarei parents face more costs..

The Minister, now becoming known by many as “Ayatolley” confirmed that she is considering further funding cuts to the ECE

AUGUST 2nd 2011:

“We know that Whangarei and the north lead New Zealand statistics for social and financial deprivation”, says Pat Newman. “We know its crucial for our kids to have affordable, high quality Early Childhood Programmes”, he continued. “We wont break this cycle of deprivation that we have been in for over 60 years, by cutting educational spending and taking away any chance of balancing the playing field for our young,”

“Our current MP seems keen on photo opportunities, but goes missing when really needed. Why is he not standing up and fighting for the needs of our children, is a serious question that only voters can answer, “ said Pat Newman

They can’t wait to sell off what little we still own, to their rich mates….

I will be there in support as will Kelvin Davis MP. We know the importance of education in breaking the poverty cycle .
