Vandalism of Abortion Nurses Car Deplored

Right to Life deplores the recent vandalism of a abortion nurse’s car at the Auckland Medical Aid Centre, [AMAC], a private killing centre for unborn children. We also hope that the Police will speedily apprehend the culprit of this vandalism and charge him with this offence.

It is unhelpful for Annabel Henderson, the spokesperson for the Abortion Law Reform Association, [ALRANZ] an organisation that has little support in the community to make an accusation that is both defamatory and false. She states, “it is outrageous and disappointing that someone in the anti-choice community in New Zealand resort to intimidation and threats.”This is an astounding accusation, what evidence does she have for assuming that the vandalism was perpetrated by a member of the pro-life movement?

Overseas experience would suggest that the perpetrator may be a very angry father who was frustrated by his inability to prevent the killing of his unborn child in an abortion at AMAC.

The pro-life movement is totally opposed to violence against women inflicted by abortion. We are opposed to violence against the helpless and defenceless unborn. We are also opposed to violence against abortion staff and their property.

It is important that the community opposes this mindless vandalism, however the response of ALRANZ is an attempt to distract attention away from the very real violence against women and their helpless unborn at the AMAC clinic. In 2011 there were 1,157 unborn children killed at that clinic. ALRANZ claim,”abortion care providers are valued and supported by their community.” Why should the community value and support those who in violation of their medical ethics inflict violence against helpless women and a violent death to their precious unborn?

Right to Life encourages the doctors and nurses at AMAC to follow the growing number of doctors and nurses in New Zealand who no longer want the blood of the innocent on their hands and refuse to be involved with the killing of the innocent.
