New Political Party for New Zealand

New Political Party for New Zealand

Another new political party has sprung up, this time, from the West Coast of the South Island! GOdsownNZ identifies as a Christian political party however they want to reach all New Zealand voters that have felt let down by their previous parties of choice.

Claire Holley, leader of GOdsownNZ and her husband Alan, co-founders of the party, are passionate about keeping New Zealand’s traditional ‘Kiwi’ flavour. They do not want the Kiwi ‘down-to-earth’ culture and Christian heritage to be “thrown under the bus”. “Some minority groups and self-serving politicians want to change decent societal values and traditions - to fulfill their own agenda,” says Claire. “‘Social Engineering’ and ‘Political Correctness’ has gone mad! ‘‘Freedom of speech’ is a fallacy today! If you speak out in disagreement with any of these minority groups (‘thought police’) and their dogma, you are accused of ‘hate speech!’ They try to ‘dumb us down’ and shut us up, until we (supposedly) agree with them!”

Mrs Holley has been very much involved with the Conservative Party since its launch in 2011, but resigned from the Board of Management at the end of last year. "The Conservative Party started out well, but supporters have been let down by recent events, and a ‘watering down’ of their original policy platform. GOdsownNZ has its own distinct message and flavour; we want to serve all New Zealanders, including Christians. But we won’t be ‘PC’ and will more than likely step on a few toes!”

“We are pro-New Zealand, pro-life, pro-family and pro-moral policy. We are the ‘non-’P.C’ Party’ that we believe, many New Zealanders will really want to support. We stand, voicing the opinions of a silent majority who have become fearful of speaking out what they really think. We will be saying in public, what many may only say in the safety of their own four walls!”

“Traditional Christian values and ethics, employment to prosper all, justice rather than legalities, welfare support for true needs, and possessing and maintaining New Zealand and our traditional ‘Kiwi’ culture, are the foundations of GOdsownNZ. The nation is being taken down a road that is dangerous: the selling of our land and assets to foreign interests; out of control national debt, greedy corporations and executives; welfare dependency, crime escalating without just penalties, liberal brainwashing, and a moving away from a decent society we used to be proud of. New Zealand needs to get back on the right track!”

“GOdsownNZ is here to stand for the New Zealand we once knew, want to retain, and continue to improve” states Claire. “We want to ensure that right is actually right, and wrong is understood as wrong. We hold to conservative Christian beliefs and practice - but there is nothing wrong with that! New Zealand’s heritage is Christian, many New Zealanders identify as Christian, and we are proud of that! Today, Christianity is made out to be a bad, wrong thing...what is actually a bad thing is all the PC, liberal, social engineering that ‘normalises’ things that are actually wrong and makes out they are right, and judges those things that are right, to be wrong.

"We are ‘coming out’ as Christians to have our say! We are voicing our right to free speech! We have the same right to enter Parliament as the “PC Brigade” but we want to bring true values and ethics back in. We want God (“of nations”) to have His way in New Zealand government and society once again!”
