Socialist Equality Group Public Meeting in Wellington

Socialist Equality Group Public meeting in Wellington: For a socialist movement against war and austerity

Oppose National and the Labour-NZ First-Green government! Defend immigrants! Build a socialist movement against war and austerity!

The new coalition government will quickly ditch its hollow promises to address poverty and social inequality. It will attack immigrants and whip up xenophobia to divide workers and align New Zealand with US plans for war against China. As Trump threatens to "totally destroy" North Korea, Labour, NZ First and the Greens will strengthen the alliance with Washington and spend billions on the military.

The only way to prevent war and resolve the social crisis is through the overthrow of the capitalist system and the complete reorganisation of society along socialist lines, to meet human need, not private profit. We urge workers, students and young people to attend this public meeting to discuss the building of a socialist and internationalist party.

Toi Poneke Arts Centre, Community Room, 61/69 Abel Smith Street, Te Aro, Wellington

(Admission to this meeting is $2)
