"Mr Prebble is no friend of mine, and neither is Marian
Hobbs", says Wellington Central Independent candidate Lea
Barker, who is appalled at the Labour attempt to associate
anyone with Independent beneath their name on the ballot
paper with some kind of set-up.
"It simply confirms my
view that a vote for either Hobbs or Prebble is a vote to
prolong the death throes of the old guard. Do we want
Parliament to be a college for the bland, or a vision
centre?" she said.
