A ranking of the top New Zealand websites for the week ending 16 July 2006 from Nielsen//NetRatings' Market Intelligence service in the Rural category.
With local interest in Fonterra's buttery fortunes in Europe to the forefront of news this week, we thought people might be interested to know what the five most popular New Zealand websites are for predominantly rural-type content. Fonterra's popular fencepost.com site led the category last week and its other major site, rd1.com, just missed out on the top five coming in at 6th place. (Some might wonder why ACP Media's dealsonwheels.co.nz appears in Nielsen//NetRatings' Rural category. The answer is simply that this site is heavily rural-focused and the bulk of its content is clearly appropriate to this category - more so than to the general Automotive category, despite perhaps the implications of its name.)
