Flossie Media joins forces with email technology company
Further to the changes in strategic focus announced by Flossie Media in December 2009, Chief Executive, Jenene Freer, today released further details on the core product offering.
“Late last year we announced our movement away from display advertising to focus on one-to-one communications and an automated and aggregated email / advertising service. We are excited to announce today the merging of our business, Flossie Media Pty Ltd, with email software development specialists, Digital Dialogue Ltd (a New Zealand based company).
The Digital Dialogue team has developed a sophisticated email platform which we have been using in our business for some time. By integrating their specialist skills with our network we create a formidable partnership and significantly strengthen the infrastructure and development plans for our new platform and product offering. Details on the new platform will be announced to market on the 1st of May and will go live in June. The new flossie.com website will also be launched at this time.”
Additional changes to the business ownership include Flossie’s Commercial Director, Juliet Mackenzie, investing in the business, “it is with pleasure that we welcome Juliet to the board, she has added enormous value to the development of the Flossie business across the last year and, like us, is very excited about our strategic direction and as a result has taken a more pivotal role in our future.”
Freer has also revealed that Flossie Media is once more in ‘hiring’ mode. “With the new tool in development, we’re now ready to build the sales team in Australia.
