Infinity RMS Collects for Department of Internal Affairs

~ chooses Triquestra’s Infinity POS and Corporate Performance Management systems for public service transaction efficiency ~

Auckland, January 20, 2011 – The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) today announced it has chosen Infinity RMS point of sale software to collect, record and reconcile revenue across the Department as part of its ongoing commitment to public service efficiency.

Following a recent review of its existing A2G system, the Department agreed the need for a new integrated revenue reporting system to meet current and future architectural and business improvements.

Following an RFP process, the Department selected Triquestra to develop and provision a revenue collection, recording and reporting point of sale system, as well as provide related support services for up to five years. The project includes development of complex cross-functional integrations with a number of legacy systems including Oracle Financials.

Infinity POS software, developed in New Zealand and sold into retail and related transactional environments around the world, will process, streamline and record transactions for passports, births, deaths, marriages and name changes and citizenship applications. Infinity retail POS system will be implemented by the Department in conjunction with Triquestra. It will also provide analytics.
