2. PRO-OCALAN PROTESTS
(Evrensel) A group of 50 youths gathered and lit
fires in Adana's Karasu quarter to protest a decision
barring PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan from meeting with
his attorneys. The group shouted pro-Ocalan slogans
and dispersed when police arrived. Denial of
permission for Ocalan to meet with his attorneys was
also protested in Mersin, Batman and Van. Protestors
claimed Ocalan was being isolated and demanded the
isolation be lifted.

3. NEW FOUR-STAR HOTEL IN GAZIANTEP
(Dunya) Gaziantep's second four-star hotel, Ravanda,
has gone into service following an inauguration
ceremony attended by Tourism Minister Mustafa Tasar
and Gaziantep Mayor Celal Dogan. Ravanda has a total
of 86 rooms, including five suites, as well as a
sauna, swimming pool, Turkish bath, and a game center
for children and conference halls.
