(U) In the absence of UN Department Head Gokcen Kaya, we
presented reftel demarche to Attache Orcun Baser on June 30.
Baser confirmed that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign
Minister Abdullah Gul plans to attend the opening speech.
Further details regarding the Turkish delegation are not yet
confirmed. Post will follow up and provide further details
as MFA makes its decisions on attendance..
