1. Post presented reftel points to Deputy Director General
for International Disarmament Affairs, Guillermo Kirkpatrick,
at the MFA. Kirkpatrick said the MFA would support the
proposal because it strengthened PSI measures to curb WMD
proliferation. He added that because the proposal involved
international maritime issues, it would also have to reviewed
by the Ministry of Economy. Post will report further
developments.
