Norbert Braakhuis, head of the MFA's Central and Eastern
Africa Department, advised that the GoNL will send their
Charge d' Affairs from Khartoum, A. van der Schaaf, to the
conference on Darfur. He does not anticipate any bilateral
financial assistance to support the talks.
