POLITICAL, SECURITY, HUMAN RIGHTS

2. Bolge, Evrensel / Workers' Party members, DEHAP and
Socialist Platform members gathered at Adana's Inonu Park to
protest against growing Islamic fundamentalism in the
government, and the situation in Turkish prisons.

CULTURE and TOURISM

3. Hurriyet Cukurova / In Samandag, Hatay province, where a
large Christian community resides, Samandag District head Semir
Aydin announced that he is going to start an Annual
International Easter Festival.
