A.Detailed description: The Ceylon Electricity
Board (CEB) has called for bids from
eligible bidders for the construction of
approximately 18 kilometers of 220 KV double
circuit three phase transmission line with,
Duplex Aluminum Conductor - Aluminum -Clad
luminum -Clad
Steel Reinforced (ACSR/AC) conductor
equivalent to 400 mm2 (2x400mm2) Zebra

B.Other information:

1.Bidding documents can be obtained on
submission of a written application to
the project manager on payment of a
non- refundable fee of Rs.20,000 (US
Dollar = Rs. 102)
2.The non-refundable fee can be paid to
any Sri Lankan mission abroad. The
receipt obtained should be forwarded to
the project with a written application
for bidding documents to be dispatched.
(The cost of courier charges for
dispatching the documents should be
borne by the bidder)
3.The completed set of bidding documents
should be submitted with a bid security
of Sri Lanka Rs. 8,000,000 or its
equivalent.
4.Closing date: September 14, 2004
