1. THE VISAS VIPER COMMITTEE MET ON 04 APRIL 2005, AS PART
OF MADRID INTERAGENCY COUNTERTERRORISM WORKING GROUP AND WAS
CHAIRED BY THE CHARGE, ROBERT MANZANARES. THE CHARGE
EXPRESSED HIS APPRECIATION FOR THE CONTINUING STRONG
COOPERATION AND COMMITMENT TO THE PROGRAM BY ALL AGENCIES AT
POST.

2. DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH 2005, MADRID SUBMITTED
THIRTEEN VISAS VIPER CABLE IDENTIFYING TWENTY-SEVEN
INDIVIDUALS, TWENTY-TWO SUSPECTED MEMBERS OF ETA AND FIVE
SUSPECTED MEMBERS OF ISLAMIST TERRORIST GROUPS LINKED TO AL-
QAEDA.

3. CABLES REFERENCE NUMBER: MADRID 0858, 0925, 0979, 0981,
01011, 01025, 01179, 01181, 01182, 01183, 01187, 01203,
01204.

4. IN ADDITION, POST HAS SUBMITTED FIVE TIPPIX MEMORANDUMS
CONTAINING TWENTY-FOUR PHOTOGRAPHS OF SUSPECTS.
