1. On May 26, Poloff delivered reftel A demarche, urging
ILO fiscal restraint and reftel B demarche supporting
Barbados candidacy to the ILO, to the Director of Employment
at the Tanzania Ministry of Labor, Ernest Ndimbo. Mr.
Ndimbo had no substantive response but he promised to brief
the head of the delegation, Minister for Labor Juma Kapuya,
on both issues.
