NOMINATION PROCEDURES

As Requested, Science and Technology Officer met with Dr.
Natajaran Ishwaran (Director of Ecological and Earth
Sciences) to ask that the nomination of the Reserva de
Biosfera del Bosque Comunitario del Pueblo (Puerto Rico) be
put on hold and not be submitted to the Advisory Committee
for Biosphere Reserves for consideration until proper
procedures for vetting nominations have been established.
Ishwaran agreed that UNESCO would take no action on this
nomination until contacted by the US Mission to UNESCO.
