(SBU) Econ M/C and Econoff presented reftel demarche
to John Davies, Chief Director for Economic
Development at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Davies welcomed the initiative and noted that while
not part of the G8 agenda he hoped that similar,
positive initiatives would come out of Gleneagles.
