On September 2, Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Chakkrid
Krachaiwong, First Secretary of MFA's North American Affairs
Division. Chakkrid appreciated the news that Thailand might
receive 1.7 million dollars to continue our joint counter
terrorism programs and was unaware of any plans to use the
funds inconsistent with the programs outlined in reftel.
