(SBU) Polcouns delivered reftel demarche October 19 to Jamal
Al-Shamayleh, acting chief of the Foreign Ministry's
International Organizations and Foreign Relations Department.
Shamayleh stated that if a vote took place on the
resolution, Jordan would vote in favor. He commented that
some Arab League members were working to alter the wording of
the draft, but that Jordan would not join in these efforts.
