On September 27, EconOff delivered reftel talking points and
information to Technical Advisor for UN Affairs Carmen Bujan
Freire at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to Deputy
Director for Inspection and Control of Capital Movements Juan
Aliaga Mendez at the Ministry of Economy. The recipients had
no substantive reaction regarding the reftel content. As of
October 4, Bujan Freire had no new information regarding the
reftel content but promised to follow-up with EconOff as
necessary.
