1. (U) This is an action request for human rights
verification required by the Leahy Amendment; see Para. 2.

2. (U) JUSMAG THAI has requested that the Embassy/State
Department complete human rights vetting request for Cpt.
Siri SANTONG, 12th Signal Battalion, King's Guard, who has
been selected to attend the WCN 1172, Signal Captains Career
Course at Ft. Gordon, Georgia from 12 Jan - 28 June 2006.
Embassy Bangkok possesses no credible information of gross
violations of human rights by this person. Embassy Bangkok
Political Counselor, Susan M. Sutton, is the verifying
officer for the Embassy/Department of State.
