1. There are 335 Non-Governmental Organizations
(NGOs) maintaining official relations with UNESCO.
5 NGOs have entered into official relations with
UNESCO. 2 NGOs have ended official relations with
UNESCO since last year's review. Mission notified
IO/SHA Sylvia Hammond by fax and e-mail.

2. U.S. UNESCO Deputy Chief of Mission, Andrew Koss,
reviewed the information of the five new NGOs. There
is no evidence that UNESCO grants any official status,
accreditation or recognition to any organization which
promotes, condones, or seeks the legalization of
pedophilia or includes as a subsidiary or member
organization that does.

3. Total Staff time spend complying with this
request is 2 hours. Copies of report are sent
today via pouch.
