Poloff delivered reftel to Catherine Godin, Deputy Director
of the Humanitarian Affairs and Disasters Response Group at
Foreign Affairs Canada, who has been in contact with Canada's
delegation to the Geneva conference. She said that Canada
has worked hard to support the adoption of the Third Protocol
both prior to and at the conference and that, if the ICRC
plans to move forward with a vote on its adoption, Canada
will support it.
