1. (U) This is an action request for human rights
verification required by the Leahy Amendment; see Para. 2.
2. (U) JUSMAG THAI has requested that the Embassy/State
Department complete human rights vetting request for Lcdr.
Apirat SANGPETCHSONG, Somdejprapinklao Hospital, RTN, who has
been selected to attend the WCN 6349, MED Off Undersea Int'l
Course at Texas from 3 March - 24 Oct. 2006. Embassy Bangkok
possesses no credible information of gross violations of
human rights by this person. Embassy Bangkok
Political/Military Officer, Mark B. Lambert, is the verifying
officer for the Embassy/Department of State.
