1. Pol/econ chief delivered ref A points to Signe Jansone,
A/S-level official at the MFA responsible for Asia. Jansone
said that Japanese charge had been in just prior to make
similar points. Latvia shares our concern on the launches
and fully supports the NATO (ref B) and EU statements on the
matter.
