of Mozambique located in Addis Ababa indicating Mozambique's
intention to nominate Dr. Pascoal Mocumbi for World Health
Organization Director General. Note verbale requests USG
support of the nomination.

The Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Addis Ababa
presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United States
of America and has the honour to inform that the Government
of the Republic of Mozambique has decided to present the
candidature of Dr. Pascoal Mocumbi for election to the Post
of Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO).

In this regard, the government of the Republic of Mozambique
would like to request the support of the Government of the
United States of America for this candidature. Attached is
the curriculum vitae of Dr. Pascoal Mocumbi. (Note: Scanned
copies of the note verbale and CV have been emailed to AF/E
Mike Gonzales. End Note.)

The Embassy of the Republic of Mozambique in Addis Ababa
avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of
