(SBU) Poloff delivered points per reftel on the UNSC
resolution draft on Lebanon to Amb. Patrick Mugoya, head of
the Americas Department at the Ugandan Foreign Ministry on
August 7. Mugoya was the highest level MFA official in town.
Mugoya stated that Uganda would support any effort to stop
the fighting in Lebanon and urged that the U.S. pressure both
sides of the conflict to cease hostile operations.
